Job summary

Borden Dairy is seeking a safety-focused and dependable Transport Driver to join our team in Florida. You will deliver and restock dairy products to retail stores and wholesale centers, upholding safety and compliance standards while providing professional service.

As a Transport Driver, you will operate a commercial vehicle on established routes, load and unload products, verify shipments, and maintain accurate delivery records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class A CDL with Air Brake endorsement.
• Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate per FMCSA Part 391.41.
• Minimum 1 year of Class A driving experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Manual transmission experience required.
• Prior food/beverage delivery and customer service preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and basic math skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, transport, and unload products at designated customer locations.
• Operate a commercial vehicle along established routes to deliver, stock, and stage products.
• Set up promotional displays and deliver marketing materials as needed.
• Verify shipment accuracy and ensure product is in saleable condition upon delivery.
• Address and resolve customer concerns or discrepancies in a professional manner.
• Collect empty containers, returns, and unsold merchandise for processing.
• Complete daily inventory, delivery invoices, and proof of delivery documentation.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Assist with basic truck maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle activity as required by DOT.
• Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a customer-first attitude at all times.
