Job summary

Blue Island Recycling, LLC is seeking an experienced CDL Class A Driver to operate a Ram 3500 Dually towing a 3-car wedge trailer. This local route offers steady work and predictable home time.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, load and secure vehicles, maintain ELDs, and communicate with dispatch. Must have at least 1 year car-hauling experience and a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A required.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience; car hauling/wedge trailer experience preferred.
• Clean MVR with no recent major violations or preventable accidents.
• Physical ability to climb on/off trailer, tie down vehicles, and handle loading tasks in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, secure (using straps/chains), transport, and unload vehicles.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the Ram 3500 and wedge trailer.
• Maintain electronic logs (ELD) in compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers at pickup/delivery points.
