Job summary

LKL Associates is seeking a dependable CDL Class A Boom Truck Driver to deliver and unload drywall, steel studs, and related building materials to local sites. You will be home every night and work a 40-hour week with potential overtime. Training is provided for the crane used on site.

The role requires careful handling of materials, strict safety practices, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. A clean driving record and minimum three years of driving experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Boom truck experience recommended.
• Ability to load/unload materials and perform pre-trip inspections.
• Roofing material handling experience is preferred.
• Capable of lifting up to 100 pounds regularly.
• Bilingual Spanish/English a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials safely and on time to local sites.
• Load and unload materials at multiple jobsites locally.
• Verify inventory on the truck and confirm delivery addresses.
• Ensure loads are secured and perform pre-trip inspections.
• Assist with on-site material placement as directed by customers.

Description

We are seeking a dependable and efficient CDL Class A Boom Truck Driver who will deliver and unload building materials (drywall, steel studs, etc.) to various local work sites on a daily basis. Home every night.

Job Details

• Deliver building materials in a safe and timely manner
• Load and unload building materials at multiple job sites locally
• Confirm inventory load on truck prior to delivery. Confirm address on delivery ticket
• Ensure load is properly and safely tied down. Perform a pre-trip inspection
• Ensure smooth, on-time delivery of products and building material and place material where customers direct
• Load and unload roofing materials onto/off a truck to requested location

Work Schedule

• 40 hours a week
• Flexible Schedule. Overtime available
• We will train for the specific crane that we have here
• Rate of pay $25-$27 DOE

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Boom experience recommended
• Must be organized, detail-oriented and comfortable working independently
• A clean driving record and commercial driving experience a must
• This is a physical job. Will be up on the roof helping loaders deliver material, NOT just booming
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds regularly
• This is a very fast paced environment. Job located outdoors so dealing with all types of weather is necessary
• Roofing experience in general
• Ability to solve problems on site
