Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Barricade Driver with a CDL Class A to safely set up, deliver, and retrieve traffic control equipment at various job sites in the Pittsburgh area. Training is provided, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years of related experience; a clean driving record is essential, and ATSSA certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1–3 years of related experience.
• CDL Class A required; valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ATSSA certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lift, carry, place, and assemble traffic control equipment.
• Deliver and pick up barricades and other work area protection setups.
• Repair, refabricate and install work zone equipment.
• Visit job sites to assess and review traffic situations.
• Identify areas requiring optimal protection based on speed limits, lane usage, and other factors.
• Set up traffic control devices (e.g., signs, barricades) in a compliant and safe manner.
• Conduct drive-through reviews of setups to identify and resolve safety concerns.
