Job summary

Richards Building Supply Co. is seeking a CDL Class B Driver for our South Bend, IN location. Training is available for Class A or B with Air Brake Endorsement.

Experience with flatbed, Moffett, knuckleboom, and crane is preferred but training is offered. Responsibilities include safely delivering to job sites, unloading material, and handling warehouse receiving and inventory. Qualifications

• CDL Class B with Air Brake Endorsement or CDL Class A driver’s license.
• 1 year CDL Class B driving experience or 2 years CDL Class A driving experience.
• Crane, air brakes and knuckleboom operating experience strongly preferred.
• Current DOT medical card
• Clean driving record
• Must be at least 23 years of age
• Heavy lifting experience
• Must pass background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen

Responsibilities

• Safely delivering products to job sites and unloading material per customer requests.
• Receiving materials in the warehouse, loading trucks, and processing inventory.
• Move materials as needed and ensure proper weight distribution and DOT compliance.
