Job summary

Centerline Energy Construction in Johnstown, CO is seeking Heavy Equipment Operators for gas pipeline installation projects. You will operate excavators, backhoes, trenchers, and related equipment while performing general labor on active construction sites.

Heavy Equipment Operators - Pipeline - $35/hr - Johnstown, CO

Centerline Energy Construction is seeking Heavy Equipment Operators for their pipeline construction projects in Johnstown, Colorado. These professionals will operate a variety of heavy machinery and perform general labor duties on active construction sites, primarily focused on gas pipeline installation. The ideal candidates are safety-conscious, experienced with excavation equipment, and able to travel extensively for projects across Colorado and Wyoming.

What You’ll Need

• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
• Valid driver’s license (Class A CDL preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in ditching, excavating, backfilling, and grading
• Competency in operating excavators, backhoes, trenchers, skid steers, and similar equipment
• Experience in gas distribution or transmission preferred
• Operator Qualified in an OQ platform a plus
• Basic knowledge of construction tasks and safe hand tool use
• Ability to work additional hours as required
• Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)
• High awareness of safety and compliance with company safety rules
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and perform strenuous activities
• Willingness to work outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions
