Job summary

The City of St. Peters seeks a qualified Utilities Field Operations professional to assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of water and sewer lines and related infrastructure. You will work as part of a team to ensure safe, reliable city services.

Starting pay ranges and CDL requirements apply; candidates must have a Class B CDL and be able to lift heavy loads. On‑call and after‑hours duties may be required; this is a great opportunity for skill growth within municipal operations.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawfully authorized to work in the U.S.
• High school graduate or GED certificate.
• One (1) year of applicable experience.
• Class "B" CDL with air brakes valid in Missouri or obtain within 120 days.
• CDL instruction permit must be obtained within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain water, stormwater, and sanitary sewer systems.
• Restore damaged yards, streets, sidewalks, and driveways.
• Safely operate light/heavy machinery and Class "B" CDL vehicles with air brakes.
• Respond to emergencies, including snow removal and system repairs.
• Locate utilities using maps, GIS, and atlases.
• Complete all required paperwork and records.
• Follow city safety standards.
