Job summary

ChampionX is seeking a highly motivated field technician to drive a spooling truck and support electrical submersible pump operations at customer sites. A valid Class A CDL and clean driving record are essential, with at least one year of splicing and spooling cable experience.

The role requires operating pneumatic and manual tools, performing cable repairs, completing DOT paperwork, and adapting to overtime as needed. This position emphasizes safety and customer service on every site.

Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
1 year experience splicing electrical cable, spooling cable, and CT line.
Ability to repair armor on cable.
Ability to band cable or CT line with a Forum banding tool.
Excellent customer service and professional communication.
Immigration sponsorship not offered.
Ability to work overtime with little notice.

Responsibilities

Drive spooling truck and pull spooling trailer to customer rig site.
Perform customer support activities for electrical submersible pumps.
Inspect and repair cable.
Using pneumatic and manual hand tools, bands cable as it is being installed into the well hole.
Complete DOT paperwork as required.
Adjust quickly to changing job assignments and the flex to work overtime.
