Job summary

Croasdaile Village - UMRH, Inc. in Durham, NC is hiring a part-time Driver to transport residents along scheduled routes within a Continuing Care Retirement Community. A valid North Carolina CDL with passenger endorsement is required, and safety with courteous service is essential in our community setting.

Typical shifts run Monday through Friday from 4:30am to 9:00pm. The role includes vehicle checks, assisting residents, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and reporting maintenance needs while

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid North Carolina CDL with passenger endorsement.
• One year certificate from college or technical school; or 3–6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation services when scheduled or on an emergency basis for residents.
• Maintain a caring, compassionate relationship with residents.
• Fill vans and buses with gas, check oil level, maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance needs.
• Report unusual conditions, behaviors, and/or resident complaints to the nursing supervisor.
• Protect confidential information concerning residents, family and the organization.
• Learn and schedule daily transportation runs as directed.
