Job summary

MetroLink Tulsa seeks a dedicated Bus Operator to drive fixed-route services in Tulsa, delivering safe, on-time trips with a friendly, customer-focused approach to passengers. This full-time role emphasizes safety, accessibility, and reliable service to the community.

This position requires a valid Oklahoma CDL with Passenger and Airbrake endorsements, DOT compliance, and the ability to pass medical and background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must hold or be able to obtain Oklahoma CDL with Passenger and Airbrake endorsements.
• DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Drive assigned fixed-route MetroLink Tulsa vehicles on safe, timely routes.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist passengers, including those with disabilities.
• Operate wheelchair lifts and securement devices per ADA.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects.
• Maintain radio contact with supervisor and document incidents as needed.
• Adhere to schedules, policies, and safety procedures.
