The position is full-time, 200 days, with training, background checks, and adherence to WV policies. Excellent customer service and punctuality are essential for daily operations and student safety.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain WV CDL license with passenger and school bus endorsements.
• Must successfully complete WV School Bus Safety Program and pass requisite tests.
• Clean driving record with no accidents or violations.
• Must pass a physical examination and drug/alcohol screening as defined by regulations.
• Ability to climb in and out of bus and conduct inspections.

Responsibilities

• Operate a bus safely and efficiently to transport passengers to destinations.
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and route learning.
• Assist and supervise students with disabilities and boarding/exiting the bus.
• Maintain a clean and safe bus interior and report any issues promptly.
