Transdev is seeking a CDL Bus Driver in Knoxville, TN to ensure safe and comfortable transportation for passengers while upholding professional standards. The role requires CDL Class B with passenger endorsement and a minimum of 3 years driving experience.

Salary offers $18.92/hour (non-CDL) and $20.42/hour (CDL) with top pay after three years and benefits including vacation, personal days, and health coverage.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older
• Valid CDL Class B with passenger and airbrake endorsement
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical per DOT Part 40

Responsibilities

• Safety-Focused Operations: Execute safe and reliable transportation services by following designated routes and schedules while strictly adhering to safety protocols, traffic laws, and company standards.
• Passenger Care: Provide courteous, professional assistance to passengers, ensuring safe and efficient boarding, comfortable transportation, and timely disembarkation.
• Vehicle Safety and Maintenance: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, promptly report maintenance or safety concerns, and maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness and safety-equipment readiness.
• Policy and Protocol Compliance: Consistently follow company policies and procedures, including seat-belt enforcement, emergency-response preparedness, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Additional Duties: Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support safe, efficient, and professional operations.
• Ability to safely assist passengers with disabilities, including supporting the use, securement, and transport of wheelchairs and other mobility aids.
