Job summary

The Landline Company in South Bend, IN seeks experienced CDL drivers to operate luxury motorcoaches on airport connection routes. This is a full-time role with shifts that may include overnights and hotel accommodations when required.

You will provide professional, friendly service to passengers, complete DOT documentation and safety checks, fueling, basic vehicle cleaning, and assist with loading and unloading luggage. A strong driving record and endorsements are required.

Qualifications

• CDL with passenger and airbrake endorsements required.
• At least 3 years of commercial passenger driving experience.
• Must pass pre-employment DOT drug test and random testing.
• Must pass criminal background check for airport badge access.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent driving record.
• Samsara software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Its platform connects air and luxury ground transportation, extending the airport experience into everyday places and enabling seamless door-to-gate travel while unlocking new demand.

Pay: $30.00 per hour

The Role:

• Safely operate Landline luxury motorcoaches on scheduled airport connection routes from tarmac to tarmac
• Provide professional and friendly service to passengers
• Complete required DOT documentation and safety checks
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while in uniform and on duty
• Perform routine fueling and basic vehicle cleaning tasks
• Assist, as needed, with passenger and luggage loading and unloading
• Drivers scheduled for shifts requiring an overnight stay in South Bend, IN, will have hotel accommodations arranged and covered by The Landline Company

What We’re Looking For:

• ValidClass A or B CDLwith passenger and airbrake endorsements
• A minimum of3 years of commercial passenger driving experience
• Ability to pass a preemployment DOT drug test and to participate in random drug and alcohol testing(this is aUSDOT safety-sensitive position)
• Ability to pass a preemploymentcriminal background check to obtain a badge to access secure airport locations
• Strongcustomer service orientationand communication skills
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Excellent driving record
• Experience with Samsara software is a nice to have

Schedule:

Drivers participate in a quarterly schedule bidding system. Shifts can include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays and will vary depending on seniority. Shifts are typically 8, 10, or 12 hours long.
