Job summary

Transdev is seeking a skilled Bus Driver/Operator in Phoenix, AZ to ensure safe, reliable and courteous service along designated routes. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip checks, assist passengers, and maintain vehicles to high safety standards.

The role demands flexibility for shifts and a CDL or permit, with pre-employment DOT screening. Interviews are conducted in-person at 405 North 79th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85043 on Tuesdays from 10 AM to 3:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must have a valid CDL or CDL permit.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible schedules.
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical per DOT Rule 49 CFR Part 40.

Responsibilities

• Safety-focused operations following routes and schedules with strict safety protocols.
• Provide passenger care: assist boarding, comfortable rides, on-time disembarkation.
• Vehicle vigilance: conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections, report maintenance issues, keep safety equipment ready.
• Adherence to protocols: enforce seat belts, emergency readiness, regulatory compliance.
• Other duties as required.
