Job summary

The Town of Snowmass Village is seeking a part-time, in-person bus driver to join our Transit team in Snowmass Village, CO. The role involves operating a transit bus on designated routes in accordance with CDL, FMCSA, and Town policies, while delivering excellent customer service to guests and residents.

The ideal candidate holds a CDL B with airbrakes and a passenger endorsement, has prior driving experience, and a background in customer service.

Qualifications

• CDL B with airbrakes and passenger endorsement is required.
• Previous driving experience in a truck or bus is desirable.
• Previous experience in a customer service role is required.
• Defensive Driving training and/or transit coach safety training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a transit vehicle on designated routes following CDL and FMCSA regulations.
• Provide information and service with a positive attitude to guests/residents.
• Record vehicle condition and passenger boarding activity; perform simple math as needed.
• Provide directions and information to customers, in person or by radio.
• Operate equipment to assist physically challenged individuals.
