Job summary

AMPI in Sanborn, IA is seeking a part-time Driver to operate a commercial vehicle transporting raw milk to and from farms, in compliance with DOT rules and safety policies.

You must hold a valid CDL A with tanker endorsement, be at least 21, have a clean MVR, and have 1 year tractor/trailer experience; two years preferred. On-site role with competitive benefits.

This position supports AMPI's dairy production network with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Must have a current CDL (Class A) in state of residence.
• Must have, or be able to obtain, tanker endorsement.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• An acceptable Motor Vehicle Record is required and must have a minimum of one-year recent tractor/trailer experience.
• Two years of recent tractor/trailer experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT and AMPI rules, regulations and policies adhering to all safety practices.
• Following schedule and directions from location supervisory personnel, travels to location to transport raw milk.
• Transfers raw milk from farm containers to trailer.
• Takes quality and control samples at farm.
• Measures milk loaded into trailer.
• Follows designated routes and schedules unless otherwise directed by supervisory personnel.
• Maintains proper documentation in all formats of recordkeeping.
• Adhere to all Safety policies and procedures, reporting any nonconformity.
