Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a professional DOT-compliant driver to transport raw milk from farms to processing plants. Operate DFA tank trailers safely, follow dispatch directions, and minimize idle time while meeting quality standards.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL in state of residence is required.
• Tanker endorsement and doubles/triples endorsement required or able to obtain.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• No DUI convictions within the 3-year period preceding application.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT, DFA policies.
• Take quality control samples at farms and measure milk loaded into trailers.
• Minimize truck idle time and conserve fuel consumption.
• Hooking and unhooking trucks and trailers; ladder climbing to tank tops.
• Maintain positive communications with producers, customers, and employees.
