Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Bucket Operator (CDL Required) to assist with clearing and removing trees along power lines. The role uses an aerial bucket truck to reach branches near energized lines, ensuring safety and compliance on each job.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be familiar with electrical hazards.
• Possesses knowledge of tree and shrub species.
• Physical energy, twisting, lifting capability, and hand-eye coordination.
• Must be willing to join the local union and pay dues.

Responsibilities

• Plans, assigns, directs, checks, and coordinates work.
• Obtains permission from property owners to trim or remove trees and arrange access.
• Maintains customer and public relations through effective work performance.
• Cooperates with customers, police, and fire departments when blocking streets.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards around the work area.
• Sets up barriers, signs, and markers to protect people and equipment.
