Job summary

Asplundh Careers is seeking a Bucket Operator to assist with clearing and removing trees along power lines. You will operate an aerial bucket truck to reach branches near energized lines and ensure safe, efficient work in all weather conditions.

The role requires 18+ years old, familiarity with electrical hazards, and ability to perform physically demanding tasks. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred with at least 1 year in the industry.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be familiar with electrical hazards.
• Must know tree and shrub species.
• Physical energy with lifting and manual tasks.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; 1+ year related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, assigns, directs, checks, and coordinates work.
• Operates and services equipment including bucket truck, saws, chippers.
• Performs tree and bucket rescue.
• Trains new personnel.
• Maintains safety practices and public safety while clearing trees and brush away from lines.
