Lansing Building Products is hiring for a CDL Driver Backup to support warehouse operations and occasional site deliveries. Typical day starts early and ends around 4:30 PM, with no guaranteed weekends. You will pull orders, receive material, and assist with deliveries using a moffett forklift.

The role emphasizes customer service, safe driving, and teamwork within a family-oriented culture. CDL B (or A) license and clean record are required.

Qualifications

• CDL B (or A) license required with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work independently.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Experience operating forklifts or piggyback systems is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Pulling orders and receiving material in the warehouse.
• Backup driver for CDL B/NCDL trucks delivering to job sites.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Interact with customers and crews on site; provide service.
