Job summary

Lansing Building Products is seeking a dedicated Backup CDL Driver to support our warehouse operations in the field and at job sites. You will pull orders, receive material, and assist with deliveries using a CDL B truck and Moffett forklift.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, safe operations, and reliability. Typically 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no weekend work, and opportunities to grow within a family-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• CDL B (or A) license required
• Clean driving record required
• Ability to lift boxes up to 70 pounds
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Minimum 1 year of driving experience
• Forklift certification and experience with a Moffett is a plus

Responsibilities

• Back-up CDL Driver responsibilities as outlined: represent Lansing at jobsites
• Pulls orders, receives material and maintains warehouse
• Drive CDL or NCDL trucks when needed
• Operate a Moffett forklift to make deliveries
• Interact with customers and crews professionally
• Keep warehouse clean and orderly
• May perform other duties such as cycle counts or inside sales as needed
