Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt waste removal services.

You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards and complete daily vehicle condition reports to keep equipment in top condition. The role requires a Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement, adheres to company policies, and includes participation in safety programs, with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle.
• Safely operate heavy truck on designated route and service customers.
• Load refuse, operate compactor and dispose at designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and colleagues daily.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag containers.
• Monitor waste for unacceptable materials and spills.
• Maintain vehicle readiness and clean around the packer blade and truck body.
• Complete route/productivity sheets, VCRs and other reports.
• Meet productivity standards for timely service.
• Follow all safety policies and participate in ReSOP program.
