Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Driver - CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal services to customers in Marietta, PA.

You will ensure the vehicle complies with safety standards before operation and complete daily vehicle condition reports (VCRs). You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, follow routes with care, load waste and dispose of material at designated facilities, and interact professionally with customers.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class B Commercial Driver's license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure safety and proper functioning.
• Safely operate the heavy truck on route and service each customer as identified on the route sheet.
• Load refuse and operate the packer according to safety policies; dispose of material at designated facilities.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and others to ensure timely service.
• Complete required reports including VCRs and route/productivity sheets.
• Maintain adherence to productivity standards and safety policies.
