Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking Class B Truck Drivers for our Oakland, CA Service Center. The role offers an hourly rate of 36.24 with full-time schedules, typically Monday through Friday. Drivers are home every day, with PTO after 90 days and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include city deliveries and pickups, multiple stops, use of scanning equipment, and direct customer interaction. Lifting and bending are part of daily duties, with lift gate and pallet jack experience a plus.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B license and clean MVR.
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop as required.
• Experience operating a lift gate and pallet jack is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pickup freight within city routes.
• Complete multiple stops per day and return to terminal daily.
• Operate scan equipment and interact with customers.
• Follow safety and company policies while handling goods.

CLASS B Truck Drivers

R+L Carriers has immediate opportunities for CLASS B Truck Drivers at our Oakland, CA Service Center.

Hourly rate is $36.24 hr.

Full-Time, Monday – Friday, Various Shifts Available.

Our drivers are home every day!

PTO available after the first 90 calendar days of employment and enjoy an excellent benefits package that includes our very own employee resorts.

As a City P&D Driver you will be responsible for city delivery and pickup of freight and returning to the terminal daily. This includes multiple stops per working day, working with scan equipment, working directly with customers, and completing potential liftgate deliveries using an electric pallet jack and/or dolly.

Requirements / Qualifications

• CDL Class B License
• Good driving record / MVR.
• Must be capable of delivering excellent customer service
• Must have strong problem-solving skills
• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty

Preferred

• Experience making deliveries in a commercial vehicle in cities and small towns
• Experience using a lift gate and pallet jack
