Job Overview

The Macomb Group, a leading distributor in the Midwest for Pipe, Valve, and Fittings, is seeking a full-time Class B Driver at our Sterling Heights, Michigan location. We pride ourselves on expanding our operations to provide exceptional services, a vast inventory, energy-efficient solutions, and outstanding customer service. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, self-driven individual to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Perform local deliveries
• Transport materials to and from designated locations
• Prepare receipts for load pickups
• Maintain truck logs and proof of delivery
• Assist with loading and unloading truck materials as needed
• Potentially perform warehouse duties after deliveries

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals
• Class B License
• DOT Certification
• Physical ability to walk, sit, stand, climb, kneel, or crawl occasionally
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25lbs
• Capability to strap and load materials onto truck beds
• Knowledge of PVF is a plus

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday, day shift. Overtime on some Saturdays (8 AM - 12 PM). No night shifts, holidays, or Sundays.
