Job summary

Richards Building Supply Co. in Greer, SC is seeking a CDL B driver for our local location. Flatbed, Moffett experience is highly desired; overtime on Saturdays may be required.

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with home every night. Benefits include 20 paid days off, bonuses, competitive hourly pay with strong OT potential, and employer contributions toward medical, dental, vision, and life plans.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B or Class A with required endorsements.
• 1 year CDL Class B driving or 2 years CDL Class A driving experience.
• Flatbed, Moffett, and Laddervator operating experience desired (training available).
• Current DOT medical card and clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Lift 50-100 lbs repeatedly throughout the day; some loads exceed 100 lbs.
• Load trucks with material for daily deliveries ensuring weight distribution per DOT rules.
• Unload trucks and receive merchandise at the warehouse.
• Move materials to designated areas within the facility.

Flatbed & Moffett Experience Desired

Opportunity for overtime on Saturdays as needed

2 years CDL Class A driving experience or 1 year CDL Class B driving experience

• Flatbed, Moffett, and Laddervator operating experience desired, but willing to train

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Heavy Lifting experience
• Must pass background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen

Requirements

• Must be able to continually lift 50-100 lbs. of material throughout the day. Some lifting over 100 lbs. will be required.
• Loading trucks with material scheduled for the day's deliveries within compliance of securing and distributing weight limits according to DOT regulations.
• Unloading trucks and receiving merchandise at warehouse.
• Move materials and items from receiving to its designated area.
