Job summary

Richards Building Supply Co. in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a CDL B driver (with options for Class A) with flatbed, Moffett, knuckleboom and crane experience. The role requires manual transmission and a valid DOT medical card, with overtime opportunities on Saturdays.

You will deliver materials to job sites, unload as requested, and assist with warehouse receiving and inventory. Family-owned, with competitive benefits and a 7:00 AM–4:00 PM schedule, Monday through Friday, potential overtime.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B or CDL Class A required with air brake endorsement.
• 1 year CDL B driving experience or 2 years CDL A driving experience.
• Flatbed, Moffett, knuckleboom and crane operation experience desired; willing to train.
• Manual transmission experience required.
• Current DOT medical card and clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to lift 50-100 lbs regularly; some >100 lbs.
• Pass a background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver products to job sites and unload material per customer requests.
• Receive materials in the warehouse and load trucks; process inventory.
• Maintain routine, home every night with Monday–Friday schedule (7:00 AM–4:00 PM) when possible.

Job description

Richards Building Supply Co. is currently searching for a CDL B Driver for our Myrtle Beach, SCLocation.

Flatbed & Moffett experience desired.

Knuckleboom & Crane experience desired.

Manual Transmission REQUIRED!

Opportunity for overtime on Saturdays as needed.

Our delivery drivers are responsible for safely delivering products to the job site and physically unloading material per the customer's request as well as receiving materials in the warehouse, loading trucks, and processing inventory.

2 years CDL Class A driving experience or 1 year CDL Class B driving experience.

Requirements:

• Must be able to continually lift 50-100 lbs. of material throughout the day. Some lifting over 100 lbs. will be required.
• Loading trucks with material scheduled for the day’s deliveries within compliance of securing and distributing weight limits according to DOT regulations.
• Unloading trucks and receiving merchandise at warehouse.
• Move materials and items from receiving to its designated area.
