Job description

Richards Building Supply Co. is currently seeking a CDL Class B Driver for our Fort Wayne, IN location. Candidates can have either a CDL Class B License with Air Brake Endorsement or a CDL Class A driver's license.

Opportunity for overtime!

Knuckleboom/crane experience required!

Semi with Moffett and/or box truck experience desired.

Our delivery drivers are responsible for safely delivering products to job sites, physically unloading materials as per customer requests, receiving materials at the warehouse, loading trucks, and processing inventory.

Qualifications:

• CDL Class B with Air Brake Endorsement or CDL Class C license.
• Moffett and/or knuckleboom operating experience required.
• Box truck experience preferred.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Clean driving record.
• Minimum age 23.
• Heavy lifting experience.
• Must pass background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs. repeatedly, with some over 100 lbs.
• Unload shingles on residential buildings.
• Load trucks with scheduled materials, adhering to DOT weight regulations.
• Unload trucks and receive merchandise at warehouse.
• Move materials from receiving to designated areas.
