Job summary

US Foods in Buffalo, NY is looking for a CDL B Delivery Driver to safely operate our delivery truck and meet customer delivery times. You will unload pallets, verify deliveries with customers, collect payments when applicable, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining accurate delivery records.

Requirements include a valid CDL Class B with necessary endorsements, at least six months of delivery driving experience, an ability to read and communicate in English, and FMCSA

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Minimum six months of commercial driving experience, preferably in delivery.
• Must be 21 years or older and able to read/communicate in English.
• Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse as required by DOT.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive delivery trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times.
• Unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in customer storage areas.
• Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain signatures.
• Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
