Job summary

Clean Harbors is hiring a Driver Class B Trainee in Omaha, NE. This role trains to operate a Class B box truck, delivering parts washer services, picking up hazardous waste, and selling products along a defined route.

Qualifications

• Obtain CDL B within 180 days of employment (company paid).
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 30 days of CDL B.
• Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Background check, drug test, and physical as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the number one priority and follow safe work practices.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups on time.
• Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions at customer locations.
• Complete documentation and labeling.
• Generate and collect leads for new products and services.
• Sell additional products and services to existing accounts.
• Follow all local, state/provincial, and federal regulations and rules.
• Safely operate vehicles according to U.S. DOT and other requirements.
• Observe operating policies and environmental health guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
