Job summary

Safety-Kleen in Medley, FL is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee (Driver Class B Trainee). This role will train to drive a Class B box truck to provide onsite service for parts washer machines, pick up containerized hazardous waste, and sell products/services in a defined route.

Qualifications

• Must obtain CDL B within 180 days of employment.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 30 days of CDL B.
• Operate manual transmission.
• Work independently with time and productivity management.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Good written and verbal communication; problem solving.
• Pass background, drug test, and physical as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily scheduled services, deliveries and pickups.
• Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums at customer sites.
• Complete required documentation and labeling.
• Generate leads and upsell products to existing accounts.
• Adhere to DOT, safety and environmental guidelines.
• Safely operate vehicles following regulations and company policies.
• Support other duties as assigned.
