Sweeping Corporation of America (SCA) is hiring a Street Sweeper (CDL B) in Downey, CA for the 1st shift. You will drive a street sweeper, perform safety inspections, and ensure routes are completed efficiently. Benefits and a strong safety culture accompany this full-time role.

Minimum qualifications include CDL-B, DOT Medical Card, 21+ years old, and passing background checks, with DOT driving experience preferred. Join a company dedicated to cleaner, safer communities.

Competenze

• High School or GED required.
• 1 year DOT driving experience preferred (waste & recycling).
• CDL-B and DOT Medical Card required; clean MVR and background.

Mansioni

• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensure safety features are functional.
• Plan and review routes, complete jobs on time with quality and accuracy.
• Safely operate street sweeper and related equipment on assigned routes.
• Handle materials safely and follow disposal procedures as applicable.
• Report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns promptly to management.
• Maintain professional communication with supervisors, teammates, and clients.
• Accurately complete logs, manifests, and required forms.
• Be adaptable to changes and maintain regular attendance.
