Clean Harbors in Salida, CA is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee (Driver Class B Trainee). The role trains to operate a Class B box truck to service parts washers, collect hazmat waste, and sell services along a defined route.

Training academy at out-of-state location is required for 1 week. Eligible candidates will have a Class B CDL, Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days, and participate in safety-first duties with uncapped commission potential and opportunity for

Qualifications

• Class B CDL required; Hazmat/Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Visit 10–12 customer sites per day.
• Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions.
• Service parts washer machines and clean out sediment from sinks.
• Upsell at customer locations and generate new leads in the field.
• Service automotive repair, fleets and manufacturing sites.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups on time.
• Follow local, state and federal compliance regulations.
• Safely operate vehicles per DOT and other requirements.
