Job summary

Safety-Kleen in Clackamas, OR is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver to train to drive a Class B box truck for onsite service at customer sites and to pick up containerized waste. You will sell products/services on a defined route and support automotive, fleets, and manufacturing customers.

Starting pay ranges reflect the posted rates, with a $5K sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. Health benefits after 30 days, 401K with company match, and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class B is required.
• Basic computer and math skills are required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Strong customer service skills are required.
• Must be able to perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Background check, drug test and physical may be required by position.

Responsibilities

• Visit 10–12 customer sites per day.
• Switch out 15- & 30-gallon drums of solutions.
• Service parts washer machines and clean out sediment from sinks.
• Upsell at customer locations and generate new leads in the field.
• Service automotive repair, fleets, and manufacturing-type businesses.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups on time.
• Follow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rules.
• Safely operate vehicles per U.S. DOT and local requirements.
