Job summary

Safety-Kleen in Cranston, RI is seeking a Class B Sales Route Driver to train as a box truck driver for on-site parts washer service, hazardous waste pickups, and route-based selling. This role is within the Clean Harbors family and emphasizes safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL is required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Basic computer and math skills are required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Successful completion of a background check, drug test, and physical as applicable to position.
• In line with OSHA Respiratory Protection standards, facial hair may be restricted where respirators are used.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority and comply with all safety policies.
• May visit 10-12 customer sites per day.
• Switch out 15- & 30-gallon drums of solutions.
• Service parts washer machines and clean sediment from sinks.
• Upsell at customer locations and generate new leads in the field.
• Service automotive repair, fleets, and manufacturing customers.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups on time.
• Follow all local, state/provincial and federal regulations.
• Safely operate company vehicles in line with DOT and local rules.
• Observe all environmental health and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
