Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. seeks a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal services on assigned routes. The role requires thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, adherence to safety standards, and timely completion of reports such as VCRs.

You will interact with customers and dispatchers to ensure service quality. The position emphasizes safe driving, on-time route execution, and maintaining equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher CDL with air brakes endorsement is required.
• Ability to perform pre- and post-operation inspections and report safety issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Safely operate a heavy truck along designated routes and service customers.
• Operate controls to load refuse, operate the packer, and dispose of material at the facility.
• Interact with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers professionally.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag accordingly.
• Monitor waste for unacceptable material and maintain vehicle readiness.
