Job summary

Republic Services is hiring a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate collection trucks and provide prompt, courteous waste removal for customers. The role includes daily vehicle inspections, reporting safety issues, and strict adherence to safety standards and regulations on every run.

Responsibilities cover route servicing, loading waste, operating packers, and maintaining accurate reports while interacting with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B or higher CDL with air brakes endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues.
• Safely operate a heavy truck along designated routes and service customers on route sheets.
• Load refuse, operate the packer, and dispose of waste at designated facilities.
• Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service.
• Maintain vehicle readiness, complete route productivity sheets and VCRs daily.
• Adhere to safety policies and participate in the ReSOP program.
