Job summary

Republic Services in the United States is seeking a Driver - CDL B to safely operate a collection truck, service customer routes, and ensure regulatory compliance and vehicle readiness.

You will perform pre- and post-operation inspections, load refuse, interact with customers, complete route reports, and participate in safety programs. A Class B CDL with air brakes is required, with a focus on reliable, courteous service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Experience operating heavy collection trucks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle to ensure tires, fluids, safety equipment and gauges are in proper working order.
• Safely operate the heavy truck along designated routes, servicing each customer and following dispatcher directions.
• Load refuse, operate the compactor and dispose of materials at the designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and staff to ensure timely service.
• Complete required route sheets, VCRs and reports; maintain productivity standards and safety procedures.
