Job summary

Republic Services in Allentown, PA is seeking a Roll Off Driver with CDL B to safely operate waste collection vehicles and provide prompt, courteous service. The role requires pre/post trip inspections, adherence to safety standards, and consistent customer interaction on daily routes.

You will load, transport, and unload refuse, assist with route paperwork, and ensure compliance with all regulations while maintaining vehicle readiness and professionalism on every shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle.
• Safely operate the truck on designated routes and service customers as identified on the route sheet.
• Operate controls to lift and load refuse and dispose of material at the facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and others on a daily basis.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag containers.
• Continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste.
• Maintain the vehicle in a safe, ready-to-work state and clean after trips.
• Complete required route/productivity reports and adhere to safety policies.
