Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal services. You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards, complete daily VCRs, and maintain high service levels across routes.

The role requires a Class B CDL with air brakes and emphasizes adherence to safety policies and regulatory requirements. Pay ranges from $20.35 to $28.00 per hour, with benefits and company programs described in the posting.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher CDL with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle.
• Safely operate the heavy truck on the designated route and service each customer.
• Operate controls to lift, load refuse, and dispose of material at the facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and colleagues daily.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag containers as needed.
• Monitor waste for unacceptable materials and maintain safety standards.
• Maintain operational readiness and clean the packer blade and truck body as required.
• Complete route productivity sheets, VCRs and other reports as required.
• adhere to safety policies and participate in ReSOP program.
