Job summary

Republic Services is looking for a Roll-Off Driver with a CDL B to safely operate a collection truck on scheduled routes in Capitol Heights, MD. You will perform daily vehicle inspections, load and dispose of waste, and interact with customers and dispatchers with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Safely operate the heavy truck along assigned routes and service customers as identified on the route sheet.
• Load refuse, operate the compactor, and dispose of materials at the designated facility.
• Interact professionally with customers, dispatchers and supervisors on a daily basis.
• Complete required route/productivity sheets, VCRs and other reports as required.
• Maintain adherence to safety policies and company procedures to minimize downtime and incidents.
