Job summary

Food Authority, INC is hiring experienced CDL B Delivery Drivers for daily dispatch from 6pm to 9pm, home every day. Responsibilities include safe delivery of temperature-controlled products, inventory checks, and supervision of Driver Apprentice/Helper.

Candidates must meet CDL, DOT medical card, and recent driving experience requirements, and be able to work overnights and weekend nights. Medical, dental, vision, and 401K with company match are among the benefits.

Qualifications

CDL-B license required.
2+ years verifiable commercial driving in last 3 years.
Current driver’s license and DOT medical card.
No CDL accidents in last 36 months.
No major violations or suspensions in last 36 months.
Able to work overnight and weekend nights (Fri/Sat/Sun)

Responsibilities

Ensure shipment of temperature-controlled products and maintain product integrity.
Count goods at customer locations and verify FIFO inventory levels.
Manage Driver Apprentice/Helper.
Operate vehicle for customer deliveries and meet deadlines.
Load and unload products from trucks or trailers.
Follow DOT regulations and safety standards; pre-/post-trip inspections.
