Job summary

Food Authority, INC in Jessup, MD is seeking experienced CDL A Delivery Drivers to join our team. Daily dispatch between 6pm-9pm, home every day, delivering temperature-controlled products to customer locations.

Responsibilities include ensuring safe, on-time deliveries, loading/unloading, maintaining logs, and following DOT regulations. Candidates must have 2+ years verifiable CDL driving, a current license, and DOT medical card. Road test will be administered prior to offer.

Qualifications

• Must have a current CDL A license and DOT medical card.
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience in the last 3 years.
• Must be able to work overnight and on Friday and Sunday nights.
• No major violations or suspensions in the last 36 months.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Deliver temperature-controlled product to customer locations on schedule.
• Count goods at customer locations; ensure FIFO inventory.
• Drive, load/unload; manage driver paperwork and safety.
• Maintain driving logs; perform pre-/post-trip inspections; follow DOT rules.
• Supervise Driver Apprentice/Helper.
