Job summary

Airgas is seeking a Microbulk Driver in Kentwood, MI. This CDL-B role focuses on safe loading and transporting CO2 products, with travel within West Michigan and Northern Indiana.

A sign-on bonus is offered, and Airgas provides a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, and disability insurance. Weekly schedule is first shift, Monday through Friday, with weekend work sometimes required to cover business needs.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with HazMat, tanker and Airbrake endorsements.
• Valid driver’s license, medical card and endorsements.
• No more than two traffic convictions in the last 3 years, or a combination of one conviction and one at-fault accident.
• No DUI within the last seven years.
• Must work in a drug-free environment.
• Able to regularly lift 75 lbs and move more than 125 lbs with equipment.
• At least 1 year of CDL driving in the last 5 years or proof of trucking school completion.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip evaluations and document vehicle condition daily.
• Safely load, transport CO2 products and obtain required customer signatures.
• Travel 25%–50% within the region; accommodation and travel paid by Airgas when travel is required.
