Job summary

Airgas is hiring a CDL B Microbulk Driver in Miamiville, OH. The role involves delivering CO2 products along local routes with a 4am start, 8–10 hour days, and occasional weekends. Comp package includes a $28.00/hour wage and a $5,000 sign-on bonus, plus comprehensive family benefits.

Expect to perform hose hookups, vehicle safety checks, and collaborative work with field technicians. Training and advancement opportunities are available within Airgas’ safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat, Tanker & Airbrake endorsements.
• Hazmat endorsement is required.
• Maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card & endorsements.
• No more than two traffic convictions in the last 3 years; or two at-fault accidents.
• No DUI within the last seven years.
• Must be able to work in a drug-free environment.
• Be able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with the aid of equipment.
• One year of CDL driving experience in the last five years or proof of trucking school completion in the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Transfer product from the Airgas truck to the customer tank via hose hookup.
• Review vehicles before and after use according to DOT and company maintenance checklists.
• Load Microbulk tanks and fill customer-owned Microbulk tanks as assigned.
• Partner with field service technicians for CO2 tank installations and repairs.
• Maintain DOT, SAFECOR, and Airgas vehicle documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Nurture safe working order of the route truck and ensure timely maintenance.
