Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a skilled CDL B Local Route Driver to join our Operations team in East Peoria, IL. You will safely operate a company vehicle on local routes and provide exceptional, security-focused customer service.

Responsibilities include loading, transporting, delivering materials, and preparing required paperwork while collaborating with dispatch to ensure on-time order delivery. Must have a valid CDL B, clean driving record, and be able to lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in route transportation or a similar field.
• Strong knowledge of safe driving practices, vehicle maintenance, and security procedures for sensitive assets.
• Ability to perform physical requirements: lift up to 70 pounds and move bins up to 350 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a company CDL vehicle safely and efficiently on local routes, following security procedures.
• Manage the complete logistics of the route, including loading, transport, and delivery/pickup, with accurate paperwork.
• Collaborate with dispatch and customers to ensure timely delivery and strong customer service.
