Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a CDL B Local Route Driver to join our Operations team in East Peoria. You will safely operate a company vehicle on local routes, manage loading and delivery of materials, and maintain precise records while delivering top-tier customer service.

The role requires 1 year of route experience, strong safety and maintenance knowledge, the ability to lift up to 70 pounds and move bins up to 350 pounds, and a valid CDL with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in route transportation or a similar field.
• Strong knowledge of safe driving practices, vehicle maintenance, and the ability to maintain all security procedures for sensitive customer assets.
• Proven ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, including routinely lifting up to 70 pounds and carrying/moving bins up to 350 pounds over various terrains.
• A valid CDL Driver's License with a good driving record and a minimum age of 21.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a company CDL vehicle safely and efficiently throughout your assigned local route, ensuring all security procedures are strictly followed.
• Manage the complete logistics of the route, including the secure loading, transport, and delivery/pickup of materials, while accurately preparing all required paperwork and records.

CDL B Local Route Driver

Reasonably expected salary range: $46,800.00 - $58,500.00

Please note that an employee's starting salary may vary based on a variety of factors. Where State, Municipal, Provincial, Territorial or other legal minimum wages exceed the federal minimum wage, employees are entitled to the higher rate.
