Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions Inc. is seeking a Class B Local Driver in Dallas, TX. This role focuses on safe, on-time freight delivery to customer locations with daily home time and a standard Monday–Friday schedule from 9am to 5pm.

You will perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, load/unload freight, complete required paperwork, and maintain accurate shipping documentation for DOT compliance. Endorsements like Hazmat/Tanker are needed or obtainable with reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL required.
• 21+ years of age.
• 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Deliver and/or pick up freight to/from customer locations or terminals as directed.
• Ensure shipping documents are available for DOT inspections and accompany shipments.
• Load and unload freight as required, with or without mechanical assistance.

The CDL B position is a Route Delivery Driver position in which you will operate a Company motor vehicle to transfer freight safely and efficiently to and from specified locations by a specified time. This position unloads, sorts, palletizes, and reloads a wide variety of freight, manually or with the aid of a mechanical device.
