Job summary

Individual FoodService in Southern California is seeking a Class B Delivery Driver to join our team. You will operate and safely drive a 24–26 ft straight truck, handle loads, secure shipments, and ensure timely deliveries across local routes.

The ideal candidate has a valid Class B license, 2+ years of delivery experience, and familiarity with lift gates, pallet jacks, and GPS routing. This is a union position with competitive hourly pay and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B driver's license required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 2+ years of delivery driver experience.
• Experience with local/inside deliveries and straight trucks (24–26 ft).
• Must pass pre-placement drug test and maintain DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate lift gates, pallet jacks, hand trucks.
• Proficient with GPS and routing systems; strong routing and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate and safely drive assigned delivery vehicle.
• Pick-up loads and organize goods in an orderly manner.
• Ensure contents secured inside the truck to prevent damage.
• Safely unload goods at destinations and maintain logs.
• Maintain predetermined route and ensure timely deliveries.
• Communicate with dispatch as needed and verify shipment contents.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Comply with ICC and DOT regulations.
