Job summary

Republic Services in Statesville, NC is hiring a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and deliver reliable waste removal services to customers. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, load with care, and follow safety policies to protect you and the public.

You will interact with customers and coworkers professionally, complete VCRs and reports, and participate in the ReSOP program while maintaining routes on schedule and ensuring high service quality.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and report issues.
• Safely operate the collection truck on designated routes and service customers.
• Load refuse and operate the compactor while following safety policies.
• Interact courteously with customers and coworkers to maintain professional service.
• Complete required reports (VCRs, productivity sheets) and adhere to schedules.
• Support safety policies, participate in ReSOP, and maintain operational readiness.
